Explore: Accessible to yogis of all levels, The Haven’s Explore classes will provide detailed instruction and a slow pace for those looking to deepen their understanding of yoga basics. No flexibility required!
Cosmic Flow with Danielle Mercurio - (Offered 1x per month): This class incorporates current astrology transits such as moon phases + retrogrades, channeled guidance for each sign of the Zodiac plus how to infuse the energy of the planets into self-awareness and expansion. This is an inviting practice that blends guided visualization, synchronistic music, kundalini movement, and cosmically aligned mudras.
Gentle Yoga: Join the Queen of Relaxation, Faye Nulman in a gentle floor class with energy healing and centering meditation. This class includes instruction that will guide you to move within your body's ability. Detailed instruction will allow for a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of yoga.
Unheated Mindful Vinyasa Flow: A 60-minute class of yoga for everybody. An invigorating blend of vinyasa transitions, balance, and deep stretch. This class starts with intention and ends with a guided savasana to reinforce awareness and strengthen the mind-body connection. Expect a personal challenge and a smile on your face as you experience the progress in your flow as you continue to practice on a regular basis. This class is unheated.
Slow Flow: Move slowly through a thoughtfully crafted sequence of fluid postures with an emphasis on linking breath to movement.
Yoga for Stress & Anxiety: Calm the body, mind and spirit as you move through sequences that have been thoughtfully designed while integrating scientifically proven breathwork techniques that activate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest).
Integrate: Perfect for intermediate level yogis and those with a consistent practice, The Haven’s Integrate classes are designed to be faster paced and physically challenging. With the added element of heat, these classes allow yogis to deepen flexibility and build endurance within the practice.
Warm Flow and Stretch: This class is the best of both worlds! Half challenging flow in a slightly heated room to warm up the body, followed by a floor series of relaxing stretches to calm your mind while loosening and relieving tension.
Heated Mindful Vinyasa Flow: A smooth sequence of flowing poses, creating a dynamic practice that will build the heat from the inside. This class will build flexibility and strength. This heated class takes place in a room heated to about 90 degrees.
Activate: Challenging and fast paced, these classes at The Haven are the perfect fusion of high heat and advanced asana for those dedicated to the practice of yoga. Heat in yoga allows the body to detoxify and the mind to stay fully present while igniting a passion for physical and mental well-being. Yoga mat towels and/ or nonslip hot yoga mats and water bottles are strongly recommended.
Find Your Flow: This flow is a heated 95–98-degree power yoga class with a pace of one breath to one movement. This class moves through the asanas (poses) with power and intention, focusing on the connection of body and breath to shift awareness inward and work towards personal transformation both on and off your mat. Modifications are offered for all levels, making this class accessible and challenging for both new and experienced yogis alike.
The Haven "Not So Hot" 26: A series of the same 26 poses practiced in a heated, high humidity space with the temperature set at 95-98 degrees. Enjoy seeing the benefits and noticeable progress with a consistent practice of The Haven’s Series 26 taught by specially trained instructors.*
*Please note that until further notice, The Haven 26 will be "not so hot" due to unforeseen circumstances with the heating capabilities of the new space. We are working on a solution but may take a little bit of time. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Warrior Yoga: Warrior Yoga is a practice to strengthen the body and the mind. It is an energizing total body workout set to tone every major muscle group, build strength, stamina, and flexibility. Warrior Yoga compliments a regular yoga practice with the addition of free weights and resistance bands to strengthen muscles.
Restore: Slow and soothing, these classes focus on helping to ease the body and mind into total relaxation with equal parts stretching and meditation. Appropriate for all levels of yogis, The Haven’s Restore classes will help to bring gentle renewal of body and mind.
Moving Meditation: This practice incorporates 45 minutes of a combination of flowing and static poses followed by a 15-minute meditation offering an evening of pure rest and relaxation.
Yin: A therapeutic practice designed to stretch connective tissue and bring a sense of presence and focus. The Haven’s Yin classes feature guided meditation along with extended holds of only a few poses per class.
Restorative: Restorative Yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses (asanas) for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga – the union of body and mind.
Sound Healing + Breathwork:
Tibetan Yin Sound Bath: This all-levels yin class works the connective tissues of our ligaments, joints and deep fasciae networks through a meditative practice focused on deep stretching, breathing and relaxation. All accompanied by the soothing sounds of Tibetan Sound Bowls.
Crystal Sound Bowl Meditation: This guided meditation accompanied by alchemy quartz crystal singing bowls will help you calm your mind, open your heart and confirm your intentions. The rich, textural sound that is created by using the bowls resonates hypnotically throughout the room, strengthening a shared yet profoundly personal.
Breathwork: Your breath is the master key to unlocking your infinite potential to manifest positive change in your life. If you are willing to put forth the effort, this class may help you find more clarity, self-love, purpose or inner peace as well as less stress, anger, anxiety, or negative emotions that no longer serve you.
Off The Mat Workshop Series:
The Haven Yoga & Spiritual Sanctuary’s mission is to provide a haven for people to feel comfortable as they embark upon their personal growth and development journeys. We have created The Haven’s “Off the Mat” Series. This series of workshops provides support for all areas within our Life Wheel including topics around Spirituality or Faith, Relationships, Career, Finance, Health and Fitness.
